All decisions are based on extensive research into banking and FinTech systems. This involved a significant amount of time dedicated to understanding the payment processes of banking systems.

Despite my attempts to find suitable users, such as accountants or treasurers in other banks, I was unsuccessful. However, I spoke to other designers with similar projects and gained insight into the processes involved.

As there was a time constraint, I had to proceed with my research without conducting interviews. Therefore, my research was based on a competitive analysis of banking processes, which I obtained through various sources, including YouTube, Google, and other designers.

I also consulted with designers from international banks and drew upon my personal experience with both Kazakhstani and American banking systems to inform my decisions.

Solution

Solution

For the corporate payments user journey, I identified the following tasks that user should complete to achieve their goal:

1 – Log into the website

2 – Go into payments tab

3 – Select ‘Bulk payment’

4 – Upload .csv file

5 – Wait while the system reads the file

6 – See if there are errors. And if there are, edit them in the system itself

7 – If a user has authorization to approve the payment, he/she may do so. If not, he/she sends a payment for approval

8 – Wait while the payment is processed. If it’s external payment, it can take several days. If internal, 2–3 hours or a day

9 – Go to ‘Completed’ tab in ‘Operations history’

10 – Download order (optional)

11 – Log out
